That’s pretty bold company name, Cock’s Nuts? Where did it come from?
With a name like Cockerham we could have gone a couple directions! Ham’s nuts didn’t quite get it. We give the credit to our son-in-law for coming up with the fun name Cock’s Nuts. It’s truly a tribute to our family and all the nuts in it that make us one big, fun family.
Who is Paxton?
Paxton is the rooster or cock in Cock’s nuts. He is a funny, sassy, smart, kind guy. He got his name from the street in Ohio where we raised our 7 kids for 22 wonderful years.
How do you roast your almonds?
To insure the crunch we know you love, we roast our almonds at a low temperature for 40 minutes to insure all the moisture is out. After that, we raise the temperature and carefully roast them for an additional 10 crunchy minutes.
What ingredients do you use?
Always clean and fresh ingredients. Our herbs are fresh and our seasonings have no additives.
Are roasted almonds healthy?
With 6 grams of plant protein, 4 grams of fiber, 13 grams of “good” unsaturated fats (only 1 gram of saturated fat), magnesium, antioxidant vitamin E, and so much more in every healthy handful, almonds are the perfect crunch for every diet.
Where do you source your almonds?
We use raw almonds that are grown in the US!
How should I store my roasted almonds after opening the package?
It was important to us to provide a package that you can reseal. We recommend you always reseal and keep in a cool, dry area. Moisture and air will reduce the crunch that you love.

We currently ship all of our orders using USPS Priority Mail or for larger orders, UPS Ground, which takes anywhere from 2-5 business days to receive from the time you place your order. We try to ship out all orders placed before 12pm EST the next day, but this varies depending on the time of the year and the weather. We ship out of Land O Lakes, FL, so the closer you are to us the quicker your package will arrive. Please allow an extra 1-2 business days for processing during peak periods and holidays.
